December was the “perfect storm”
Passenger liners
During the busiest part of the season we had hundreds of passengers disembarking on the moorings.
Air Births
We find that more and more Mooring Right Owners are using Air births. This has the effect that we have less births available for rentals. Even if the owner is not using his birth, we cannot place a rental on the birth as the Air birth is there.
Dirt Bins
Even though we have placed a notice to the effect, people are still throwing bait boxes and pieces of fish in the dustbin. This is leading to conflict with the authorities, and should be stopped immediately.
